Balam Ruiz is a curious and dedicated mathematician in training. He transferred from Gavilan College and is completing his junior year at California State University, Monterey Bay where he is exploring the beauties of mathematics and data science under loving and down to earth professors.

Balam is also a well-trained tutor and is excellent with all levels and ages of people. He currently works in after school programs servicing tk-5 children in Watsonville and high schoolers in Hollister. There are no bounds to his love or appreciation to those around him, and gladly makes time for those that need him.
